Jahai found his passion for writing at a very young age. From poetry assignments to theater, Jahai has always been heavily involved in bringing his creative side to life. While he idolized rap as an adolescent, he was never able to capture the flow required to make waves in the music industry until he gave his life to Christ at the age of 21.
Fresh inspiration from his salvation spurred him on to come out with 3 mixtapes ( A new hope vol. 1, A new hope vol. 2, A new hope vol. 3) and his first studio album (Driven) in 2011.
After a 6 year hiatus, Jahai came roaring back into the rap game with his much-anticipated mixtape (Still Standing) in 2019 which was an allegory of the turmoil that dominated his life in 2018.
His comeback was made official with his second studio album (Story of my life) released in 2020 putting the world on notice that he is back like he never left.
